I think the Nespresso C100-US-AERO Essenza is one of the automatic single serve espresso machines that gives the best value. In fact, if you like to have cappuccino or espresso drinks at home everyday without going into all the trouble of hand pulling your own shot or washing up the machine each time afterward, get an automatic espresso machine like this one.

No Worries, Taste is Great
I’ve had my doubts when it comes to automatic single serve espresso machines at first, just like everyone else. For one thing, they use pods instead of ground beans, would the taste be rich enough? And the pods can only be bought with the company making the machine, so if you don’t like their pods, the machine will become an ornament in the kitchen.
The first time I tasted an espresso made from Nespresso pods, all the doubts cleared away. There was no doubt that they can make good espresso, even if in pods, and there are many flavors to choose from, so anyone can find their favorite taste.
Way Easier to Use and Clean
Everything is so easy with the Nespresso C100-US-AERO Essenza! Just fill the water dispenser, pop in a pod, wait for the lights to stop blinking, then press the button. Voila! You get your rich smell of espresso before it comes out into the cup.
“The thought that I could enjoy coffee of that quality in my own home, at a whim in less than five minutes, blew my mind. And it was so easy! I ordered a C-100 as soon as I got home and have never been sorry.” – Robert Finklestein, at Amazon.com
Pour milk into the included Aeroccino froth maker until the bottom line (take care not to overfill or it’ll froth out of the container), put on the lid and press button. You can make hot milk, light froth or heavy froth with this for lattes and cappuccinos.
Tip: If you like hotter coffee, heat up the machine by running it once without the pod first.
Cleaning up is even easier! Just run the machine once with water, and clean the base by pulling it out, discarding the used pods and rinsing it.
This automatic espresso machine is so convenient that I bought one for my wife to put in her office. It’s very affordable compared to super automatics which cost over $1000, and she’s so pleased that she doesn’t have to waste a lot of time making coffee and cleaning up. She now spends more time finding out what other flavors there are to try instead!
Nespresso C100-US-AERO Essenza is less than $300, and the pods cost $.55 each except for a couple of special varieties. The pods can only be bought at Nespresso online store, but a commenter found out that the patent will expire in 2012, so it will be more widely available soon.

I know some of us just want that regular cup of coffee every morning without having to go to all the fuss of tamping grounds and heating up the milk, not to mention washing up. That’s why a lot of people overspend more than $2 a day for coffee. But with the Nespresso CitiZ Automatic Espresso Maker, you’d think stopping by Starbucks is more trouble!

Nespresso CitiZ Automatic Espresso Maker and Milk Frother
Place this awesome espresso machine in your office or at home, and enjoy an espresso shot or a lungo whenever you like in 30 seconds flat, no mess, no fuss, and no skill needed. It’s so easy to use: just pop in the espresso coffee pod, wait for the lights to tell you it’s ready, and press the button.
The Nespresso CitiZ Automatic Espresso Maker only uses pods from Nespresso, but these are really good! They must have been made of espresso grounds. There are many flavors and intensity to try out and I’m sure everyone can find their favorite. One pod makes one cup, and each pod costs only $0.55.
And there’s none of that business of descaling or backflushing with this espresso machine, only press the button again to run the machine with water after use and dumping the used pods.
The frother is really good too! The froth is thick and the frother is easy to clean.
“Pour your favorite milk to fill line. Replace cover. Press button. Voile. Whisper quiet then thick, frothy suds for your perfect cup of espresso or coffee. “ – Mary Brown
There are a couple of reviewers saying that their frother on this combined unit didn’t last very long, but they are very satisfied with the espresso maker itself. If you make a lot of lattes a day, you may want to consider buying the espresso machine and frother separately.
For ultimate convenience and to save many bucks a day in coffee, get the Nespresso CitiZ Automatic Espresso Maker. It’s very affordable compared to the super automatics, and it’ll soon pay for itself.
If you like a more compact unit of automatic espresso machine, the Nespresso C-100 is a good choice. It has a smaller footprint because the frother is separate and can be stored away.
Those who prefer a higher end super automatic espresso machine, I recommend the Bosch Benvenuto B30. Or try DeLonghi ESAM3300 for good value. Anyway, I have more recommendations in my Best Espresso Machine main page.

The espresso machines from Nespresso always give me the impression of being simple, reliable and foolproof. You don’t have to be any barista to use the Nespresso D290 Concept Espresso and Coffeemaker and make consistently great cups of espressos.

Great Espresso With Zero Mess
The Nespresso D290 Concept is to be used with the Nespresso capsules that ensures that you get great espresso ALL the time. There are 12 flavors to choose from, all of which can be ordered from Nespresso. I always try to get the limited edition capsules for my office machine when they’re available, in addition to my regular Roma and Arpeggio. If you’re not sure which one to buy at first, there’s an online system featured on the Nespresso website that can help you identify the strength of your coffee, but it’s so fun trying out the different flavors that I’ve tried them all!
Besides not needing to worry about the right consistency of the grind, using capsules also means that there will be no mess to clean up afterward. The capsule will automatically be ejected from the machine (to be thrown into the trash) once it is done brewing a cup. The Nespresso D290 Concept Espresso and Coffeemaker is designed so that you will only be doing a minimal amount of cleaning.
Sturdy As A Rock
Users have reported this machine to be very reliable. One user reported that even after 3 years, the machine is working well without any hiccups or broken parts. Of course, normal maintenance needs to be done from time to time to keep this little beauty up and running.
Some people think that an espresso machine is a luxury item and seeing the price tag for many espresso machines, I can’t really blame them. But if you’re an avid espresso drinker like me, you actually save a lot of money in a couple years time by having your own machine. In fact, the price of the Nespresso D290 Concept is only in the medium range of the many espresso machines.
